Breaking Wave Theatre Company is excited to announce our first Youth Theatre Summper Camp, coming this June 12, 2023 - July 15, 2023.

During this five week camp, campers will explore and learn about theatre under camp director Dr. Troy McVey and a staff of Breaking Wave members and UOG Theatre alumni and students.

While engaging in these lessons, the campers will get real experience in putting on a staged production as we will also be rehearsing with them to stage a production of Stellaluna and Other Tales: The Muslcal with Book and Lyrics by Allyn Cardarelli and Music by Steve Goers, Based upon the works of Janell Cannon.

This will allow the campers to not only learn about the arts, but to apply what they learn through a real production. Every camper will have the opportunity to be involved either as an actor or a crew member, depending on their preferences. The camp will conclude with open to the public performances on July 14 and July 15.

Camp will be at the UOG Fine Arts Theatre from June 12 - July 15, 2023, with campers meeting every Monday - Friday from 1 PM - 5 PM. The camp is free, but space is limited so participants will have spots secured on a first-come, first-serve basis.
